"Excuse me... Mr. Harrison? I was wondering if I could have your autograph?" Ania asked politely. She hoped she wasn't bothering him.

George jumped, startled by the sudden noise, and some sparks jumped around his fingers. He turned around and replied nervously, “S-Sure! What- What would you like me to sign?”

He smiled at her, hoping he could play off what was truly bothering him. “Yes, don’t worry about little old me! Being a Beatle has its stressors, after all!” George tried even harder to reign his nervousness, already knowing that if it got out of hand he would have another magical outburst.

That thought did not help at all.

"I should imagine," Ania said. "Your life has gotta be hard. Can I just ask a few questions? My friends will never believe when I told them I’ve met you," she added with a smile. She hoped she wasn’t bothering him; he dealt with fans everyday, and not all of them were polite like her.

"Ah- S-Sure! Sure- what would you like to know?" He was getting more jittery by the second. God, I can’t keep this up!

She noticed that George seemed really uncomfortable. “It’s alright, you know, if you’re too stressed,” she said reassuringly. “I just wanted to know some silly things. It’ll be alright if I don’t know them!” Ania said with a smile. “I don’t wanna take up too much of your time anyway!”

He took a deep breath to try and relax his frayed nerves- and magic. “Don’t worry about it. Ask away, please.”

Ania smiled. She felt bad; George seemed so frazzled. But he had said she was okay, so she asked away. “How long have you been playing guitar for?”

He smiled genuinely; oh, how he loved talking about guitars. “For as long as I can remember! Always been a favourite hobby of mine, guitar playing,” he winked.

Ania knew his smile was genuine now; his eyes lit up. She smiled up at him, clutching her HELP album close. She was talking to George Harrison! “And you and Paul are best mates right? You have been for a while?”

He nodded. “Oh, definitely. We’ve known each other since I was 14 an’ he was 15.” He grinned again at the memory.

George jumped, startled by the sudden noise, and some sparks jumped around his fingers. He turned around and replied nervously, “S-Sure! What- What would you like me to sign?”

Ania almost sighed in excitement, but just held out her copy of HELP! “Uh, this, if that’s alright!” She smiled at him; he looked nervous. “My name’s Ania,” she said. “I’m a really big fan.”

He tried to calm down, but winced and swore under his breath when he felt some of his… magic burn part of the movie case. “Um, right… Ania, correct?” He signed it, adding an extra bit of flourish to both his and her name.

Ania was basically jumping up and down as she watched George Harrison sign her record. “Oh my gosh, thank you!” She gushed. She smiled up at him as she took it back, but noticed something was amiss. “Are you alright? You look stressed!”

Paul quickly straightened out George’s bow tie, laughing. “We’re meetin’ the Queen and ya can’t even get your tie straight,” he laughed, then stepped back.

"Ya look great! Uncomfortable, but great,"Paul said to his mate.

George smiled- but it came off as more of a grimace- before tugging on his collar. “Ya can’t blame me for being nervous, can ya?”

Paul clapped his hand on George’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, alright? Ya got me and John and Ringo all here to keep ya safe from makin’ a fool of yourself,” he said. He smiled genuinely at George. “No reason to worry, eh?”

He took a deep breath and smiled back at Paul. “Here’s hoping.”

"Don’t worry," Paul reassured. "I promise you’ll be alright." He took a deep breath and fixed his hair. "Just don’t make any dumb faces, yeah?" He said. Him and George had a habit of just making stupid faces at each other.

Before he could stop himself, George pulled one of his ‘dumb faces’ and laughed. “Just you try an’ stop me,” he joked.

Paul stick his tongue out at him and curled his lips. “Not in front of the queen!” He laughed. “Behind her back, maybe,” he said with a wink.

George shot Paul a large grin that scrunched up his eyes and showed off his teeth. “Careful, Paulie, don’t want to seem improper, do we?”
